How are you? What have you done in your new secondary school? Times flies fast ,its already term 2 of the year. Did you went back to our primary school to look for our teachers?
I met many new friends in my secondary school ,one of my best friend is Jeanette! Maybe next time we meet I can ask her to come along! What about you? Who have you met in your secondary school? Or you still go with our primary school classmates? How I wish I also have some old classmates here ,at least have some old friends who understand me more.
You remebered my dog? Do you know that its lost for 3 days? I'm so sad in those 3 days ,almost everyday I cried... You don't have any pets ,do you? If you have one maybe you will understand how I feel...
Do you want a "6 Appreciative'09" class outing? Maybe we can ask Yi Tian to organize one in june holiday! Ask Mdm Nazerah to come too! Haha ,I miss our class too much already I think... If we don't have a class outing also never mind ,we can go out together. Ask our secondary school classmates to come along will have much more fun ,right?

Sports Fiesta
For our 5th Sports Fiesta of Chong Boon Secondary School, Pyros won! Because I'm from Pyros, i felt extreamly happy when the result was announced. Although, we have been leading all the way till the actual day, but Voltus and Hydros is always just a few marks away from us. We cannot afford to lose to many games in the Sports Fiesta.
I played the tele-match for our house, although our house lose, but we still play very well in the other games! My friend, Jeanette, who is also in our house, took part in many games. She plays captain ball, she run for our house and at the end of the fiesta, she won many trophys home!
When Mr Tan was annoucing the results, I was wishing that our house really wins, as it has only left the 2 houses which was competing through out the games and their marks is only 3 marks apart! I was saying Voltus when Mr Tan wants to annouce the 2nd position of the Sports Fiesta and he really says Voltus! We were all shouting and running when Voltus's name was being called, because it means that we have won the Sports Fiesta!

Cross-country
26 of March is our school's annual cross-country. My dad drove me to Macritchie Reservior ,I saw many seniors also walking as the same way as me ,so i follow them up to the meeting point where i meet my classmates there.
We chatted for a short while ,while teachers are busily taking attendence. We find our friends ,chat and finally the student counsillors ask us to squat or sit on the grass patch which is wet... 1E1's student who is next to me said that just now they saw leachers ,caterpillars and other worms crawling around at the grass! So we didn't sit ,just squating there and feeling our legs aching... Sometimes when our legs really very pain ,we will use our hand to support ourself first and let our legs rest. After Mr Tan talk to us ,we all were instructed to stand up and boys were to stand infront while the girls behind. Ms Chin then bring we girls to the starting point of the cross-country!
We started to run along the path and into the forest ,as it rains in the early morning ,the road was slipery when we are inside theforest as there's muds and puddles of water around... We ran a long way before we see our classmates in NCC ,he is in the shelter! When he sees us ,he smile and wave ,we pass him and ran further down the road. We ran into another part of the forest and when we came out of the forest and saw a pond ,we also saw Mdm Yick. She asks us if we want any water ,so we stop beside her and took a sip from her new bottle of water. After we drank the water ,we thanks Mdm Yick and started to run again... This time ,we had to run up a slope and down again... When we were going up ,we run slowly as the slope is slipery and we might fall if we are careless ,but when we goes down the slope ,I was feeling like flying because straight away after my feet touch the ground ,I started to "take off " again... We pass teachers ,counsillors and NCC cadats and finally came to the last part of the race...
We walk beside the express-way and into the Macrichie Reservior again... After we finish the cross-country ,we saw our friends who take part in the competition. We pour mineral water on each other to cool ourself down. That's really fun as we pour on the person and they were like shocked and ask ,"Why pour on me?" that's what I find it funny for the day...
Not long after that ,we were dismissed. I take bus home with my classmates as we are all heading the same way... Over all ,what I can say about this year's cross-country was awesome. Although this year is the first year i took part in this kind of race ,but I really feels good about it and I wish this kind of feelings will follow me in the years I'm in Chong Boon Secondary School...

A Far Away Place That I Wish To Go To
I want to go to China! I dont have specific place because i would like to travel the WHOLE of China! But the most place I really want to go is Guang Zhou. As my grandpa's dad come from there ,i would like to go there too. My dad has went back before ,my grandpa has also went back before ,but is only me who has never go back to the place where my ancestors live before...
I heard from my grandpa's brother tat our house there has only left 1 or 2 people living there to help us take care of the house. But what if they cannot stay there anymore? Are we going to leave the house there and never go back to repair it? We need to know that a house without anyone tidying it will soon "disappear" into the grass in front of it...
As a child studying in Singapore ,who wants to knows about how people live in kampong ,I would like to go back there to understand how my dad or my mum lives in the past when they are almost the same age as me... I also know that ,when im back from my trip ,I will be a better person as I know all the advantage given to us will not be given to the next generation if we dont take care of it...

Total Defence Day
As this year's total defence day is on the second day of the Chinese New Year ,we celebrate this two events together on the same day. Thats why our concert is so short ,because we need to go for the station set up for us before going to the hall for concert.
This year ,we learn about the five defence included for our total defence day ,Military Defence ,Civil Defence ,Social Defence ,Economic Defence and Psycological Defence.
We paste our pledge on the board made for us to stick there and move on to the stations set up by the Uniform Group. I feel that when we are at the stations ,after we have paste our pledge there ,we have to wait there to see the demostrations and there has so many people and the CCA's student seems that they cannot take up so many pupils at one time and we have to wait for our turn. Some of our classmates just stand there and talk to each other and not looking at what the students there are demostrating.
There's so much things for us to learn on total defence day but some of us are not sure what to learn from them. Wish that we finally have one day that will learn what we have to learn

Chinese New Year Celebration
This year is the first year I celebrating Chinese New Year in secondary school. Today's celebration is the combination of Chinese New Year ,Hari Raya and Deevapali. We are having a great time in laughing but the concert is too short for me. I wish to have a longer concert and have more fun with my friends
I like the teachers dacing the most ,all the teachers is so funny when they dance... Although my primary school have such things but the first time the teachers is dancing for us in the Chinese New Year celebration (I say is first time because its the first time i see them dance in secondary school ,but I dont know if they did dance last time)
Actually I am going back to my primary school to see their celebration also but I remembered that the new principal of my primary school says that we need to make appointment for going back and we only can stay at the foyer waiting for our teacher... What if our teacher didn't come down to the foyer? What if the security guard dont even let me go in? So I didn't go back... Maybe this year's teacher day I will be going back and i must go back at that time.
Ok ,thats all I can say for this year's Chinese New Year Celebration...

A proud moment of my life
The proud moment of my life is when I am on the stage receiving my trophy from my Vice - Principal when i am in Primary 4. I came in the first in chinese story - telling competition organzise by my primary school…
That day ,I am the 6th to go up to the stage to tell the story to everyone. My class had 3 representative for the story telling competition and our class got all three tropies from the Vice - Principal. My chinese teacher went to print out the results slip and when she’s back I saw the smile on her face was never wipe off ,maybe she was glad that we had came in the first three and our class had just nice 3 representative…
After the competition that day ,as it was held before recess ,during recess when I’m walking down the stairs ,i heard some one said that “This is the girl got the first in the story telling competition just now!” I was so happy ,actually i didn’t think of coming in the first in the competition but I’m just putting in effort to do it. Actually I have think of giving up because my chinese teacher is so strict to us that she wanted us to have so many actions when we are telling the story to the others. I’ve cried because of that but I still tell myself that I need to work hard for it ,my results will be the evidence that I have worked hard.
When I am receiving the trophy from my Vice - Principal , my friends clap very hard for me ,I am really very touched at that point of time. After we go back to the classroom ,my friend praised me ,they said that I have done them proud and never made them dissapointed… I am thinking in mysef that I’ve not only have done the class proud ,I have my parents proud of me and me, myself proud of my achievement…

Growth Day@Sentosa Beach Fiesta
The fiesta was fun and I enjoy myself there ,Jordan and I was playing the games to fill our game card. We have 3 game card to fill as Jordan’s mother also have one. We play the game ‘Race to a Compete ’so many times that almost the whole card’s game stamp is from that game stall.
After all ,we still have about one an hour of time to walk around the place and to find friends ,Isabelle and I talk to Mr Teng in cantonese and its so fun! My shoe was full of sand as we play kicking sand at each other. I emptied my shoe 3 times and its like a sand castle if i gather it all together.
The food there is nice and the goodies bag has so many things in it especially the magazine with Taylor Swift’s introdution in it! Isabelle ,Pei Ling ,Cassandra ,Jordan ,Wallance , Mr Koh and me take the lunch and goodies bag at the beach but Tian Sheng ,Ching Hong ,Costine ,Zhong Hao and Mei Ling need to walk back to where we alight to take the lunch set and goodies bag as they don’t know that the lunch is at the beach. They need to walk here and there and it was very tiring as from where we are to where we alight from bus is a very long distance.
All I have to say is just that its really very fun and interesting journey at the Sentosa.

My Aspiration
I am going to aim for B3 for this year’s SA2 and a A1 or A2 for my ‘O’ level. Wish that my CCA does not affect my studies and I will not let that happen too.
My grade for PSLE is B for English ,and the projection is C5 or C6 ,so im going to work harded for getting a A1 for my English. To let let that happen ,i will need to put more effort on my work and looking at the A1 infornt of me!!!

My goal for this year
For my PSLE last year , I get a B for English I know for myself, my B will sure be a low B. As my English are not every good, and Mdm Tan had also say that for PSLE if I get a B the projection for my O’ level maybe its just a C5 or C6. So I must work harder, and get at least B3 or B4 for this year’s SA2!
For my CCA is Band and it required alot of training but i'm sure i am not going to let my CCA affect me. So for me ,I want to do my best for both my studies and my CCA
